The ozone sensor, based on the principle of electrochemical amperometry, can rapidly analyze dissolved ozone in water on-site. Ozone diffuses into the sensor through the hydrophilic membrane, first undergoing a chemical reaction with the electrolyte solution to form an electrochemically active compound, and then moves to the working electrode through diffusion. At the working electrode, the active compound is oxidized, generating a current signal corresponding to the partial pressure of dissolved malodorous oxygen for quantitative analysis. While measuring the ozone concentration, it is also necessary to detect the temperature of the sample water and compensate for the output signal of the sensor through an electronic device, so that the measured value can be corrected as the temperature changes (temperature compensation).
