The Online Streaming Current Detector System launched by Bebur can be used in the coagulation dosing control process of waterworks and the automatic control of processes such as sludge sedimentation dewatering and filtration in sewage treatment. It can measure and control water samples after chemical treatment. The charged ions or colloidal particles in the water sample will generate an electric current between the two electrodes in the sampling chamber of the SCD instrument. The magnitude of this current is determined by the net residual amount of positive (or negative) ions remaining in the water after coagulation. Therefore, the flow current value can indirectly reflect the coagulation effect.

The Online Streaming Current Detector System is mainly applied in industrial/municipal water treatment, sludge sedimentation and dewatering/filtration, pretreatment of reverse osmosis systems and other processes that require the addition of coagulants.

Upon the water sample flows into the sampling bank, when the piston moves upward,the water sample is brought into the hole,When the piston moves downward, the sample water is discharged from hole. Particles in water are temporarily attached to the surfaces of the piston and the cylinder block. As the water is pushed back forward by the piston, the positive and negative electrons around these particulate matter omove downward to the electrodes, and the detected signals are amplified and eventually converted to the SCV display value. Such current is called"Streaming Current"which is caused by the flow of electric current.
